This oil, made from japanese rice bran oil, combines the warmth of Sekigane's excellent and genuine Hon'Wasabi with the fruity, herbaceous and aromatic flavors of the red shiso grown in Ohara village in the heart of Kyoto Prefecture.
Red shiso and Hon'wasabi flavored rice bran oil
Sekigane's Hon'Wasabi is cultivated on a terrace in a small river of clear, running water at a constant temperature of 13 to 18° C. The harvest, after 24 months, guarantees the wasabi a very high level of essential oil characterized by a lively and sharp flavor.
This delicate, flavorful oil is particularly well suited to French and Mediterranean cuisine.
Our perfect matches : 1 to a few drops are enough to season your carpaccios, ceviche, tartars, sushi, salads, rare steaks, pizzas, sashimi of sea bass, sea bream or mackerel, raw scampi and shrimp, scallops, but also fish or vegetable broths.
