Koshu Taikoisson 14 Years Old Barley & Rice Shochu
This rare shōchū is a limited edition (bottles are numbered) matured in white oak casks for 14 long years, under controlled temperature and humidity, in conditions similar to those in the Highlands of Scotland. This shōchū is dominated by its sweetness and a pleasant acidity reminiscent of ripe fruit.

Aromas evoke smoky notes, cereals, caramel, vanilla, hay, coconut.
Palate is full of freshness, reminiscent of vanilla, custard, milk and whey, caramelized licorice subtle notes. Sweetness dominates with an elegant acidity.
Our perfect pairings: In a tasting dose, it will find numerous agreements with grilled fish, sashimi, fish eggs, sushi, grilled red meat (beef, duck).
It can also be enjoyed with your desserts (fried fruits, chocolate) or as a digestive, at room temperature or on ice.
