Saline sea salt with Ispahan rose
The selected salt is harvested by hand, in the salt marshes, in the heart of the Breton marshes, by salt workers who have a long tradition of salt production. Its crunchy texture surprises just as much as its balanced salinity. It highlights the queen of roses, the Isfahan rose, the Pompon des Princes, better known by its name "Damascus rose". The province of Isfahan has preserved its culture since the 16th century. This rose is omnipresent in Iranian culinary culture, whether in pastry, cooking, confectionery, ice creams, drinks ... Much more expressive than the rose from China or Bulgaria, it is distinguished by its intoxicating, velvety, powdery notes, identical to the scents of "old rose" of yesteryear.
Our perfect pairings : the association of these two exceptional products gives a surprising salt which we recommend tasting on a carpaccio of beef heart tomatoes (accompanied by a drizzle of ripe fruity olive oil), fresh steamed peas, or to spice up hummus, shrimps, lobster, grilled langoustines, duck breast, foie gras escalope, chicken breast, white fish fillet (sole, brill, sea bass, etc.).
