Sauce pour Gyudon
This gyūdon japanese sauce, very simple to use, will be a hit with sweet and sour food lovers.
Gyūdon is certainly one of the emblematic dishes of Japanese popular cuisine, very simple and very quick to make, which consists of a bowl of hot rice topped with minced beef, onions and sometimes egg, then pickled ginger, chopped spring onion...
For 2 persons, for a great classic:
♦ 120g of gyudon sauce
♦ 120g of water
♦ 120g of chopped onion
♦ 240g of finely sliced meat (baronet steak, marbled pork loin)
♦ 400 to 450g of cooked Japanese rice
Dilute the water and the sauce, add the onions, over medium heat, then the minced meat, and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
And that's all!
Pour over your hot or cold rice and accompany with pickled ginger, chopped spring onions, a raw egg yolk or a raw whole egg. You can vary with minced pork loin or minced chicken thigh.
