Wild Hidaka Kombu seaweed from Hokkaido

Hidaka-Kombu is just as good eaten as it is for making dashi stock

It is soft and easy to boil. It also goes by the name mitsuishi-kombu.
Its length can vary between 2 and 7 metres but its width is a lot lower than other kombu (between 6 and 15 cm). The edges are not untidy. It is a dark green/black colour.

Our perfect combination : It tastes delicious boiled. It is used in many ready meals such as ni-kombu, kombu-maki and dashi-kombu.
