Hitomebore rice variety is representative of Miyagi Prefecture. Its marketing is contemporary as it started in 1991.
Miyagi Nobome Hitomebore is soft and fluffy when cooked, and has an excellent balance of viscosity and sweetness. It is recommended for lunchboxes as well because the flavor does not decline easily even if it cools down. Also, it is a healthy product with less use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers.
Our perfect combination : once cooked, this rice becomes soft and has a good balance between stickiness and softness. Cold, this rice remains delicious, which is worth to be very appreciated for the bento. It is an excellent rice for a daily consumption.
