Happôu Junmai Seishu "Hanabi" sparkling sake
Happôu Junmai Seishu "Hanabi" sparkling sake
This sparkling, pure rice sake maintains the carbon dioxide gas obtained through secondary fermentation in the bottle and creates sharp and yet delicate, fine texture bubbles. It is an easy-to-drink, new type of sake, with an elegant sweetness, which comes from the taste of rice and moderate acidity.
*Sake Meter Value (SMV) or Nihonshudo
nihonshu=sake do = degree
SMV or Nihonshudo (Sake Meter Value) measures the density of sake relative to water, and this is the barometer for gauging the dryness or sweetness of the sake. The higher is the SMV or Nihonshudo, the drier is the sake.
It has sweet and acidic aromas such as grapefruit, peach, and strawberries with milk derived from the rice, and sweet and bitter tastes.
It goes well with melon au jambon cru, sea urchin, white flesh fish carpaccio, white flesh fish and blue skin fish sushi.
It is ideal for toasting or for an aperitif.
